9th IFIP - Internet of Things Conference

The International IoT Conference is IFIP's flagship venue for examining innovative research, edge-case breakthroughs, and deployment architectures across the Internet of Things ecosystem. Now in its 9th year, the conference brings together a global, multidisciplinary community to explore technical foundations alongside legal, social, and economic impacts.

As IoT technologies continue to interconnect modern society, developing robust solutions requires continuous innovation across embedded layers, protocol stacks, data systems, and security paradigms. IFIP-IoT 2026 provides an international forum to share emerging ideas, receive high-value feedback, and network with leading practitioners from academia and industry.

Scope of Contributions

We invite student research papers and early-stage experimental work mapping to the following core themes:

Hardware/Software Solutions & Simulation for IoT/CPS
Electronics & Signal Processing for Connected Systems
Next-Gen Networking & Communications Infrastructure
Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning for IoT (AIoT)
Cybersecurity, Privacy, and Trust Frameworks
Real-World IoT Deployments & Industry Use Cases

Submission Guidelines

  • Paper Format: Students are invited to submit short papers outlining their ongoing research initiatives (maximum of 3 pages).
  • Original Content: Submissions must cleanly describe original investigations, preliminary results, or deeper developments of previously published materials.
  • Review Mechanism: All entries are subject to an independent review based on technical merit and clarity. Accepted authors will be invited to present their visual work in an interactive poster session.
  • Proceedings Policy: Poster presentations are intended to cultivate feedback, dissemination, and active peer networking; they will not be indexed within the formal conference book proceedings.
  • Award Eligibility: At least one co-author must complete registration parameters and present on-site or online to qualify for the prestigious Best Poster Award.
